About Catherine

My name is Catherine Strang and I have been in practice as a therapist since 1990.

When I was in my teens a health problem triggered an interest in nutrition as a means to healing the body; an interest in cooking led to me training as a chef, both of which led to working in a vegetarian restaurant (in Edinburghs Grassmarket - Helios Fountain. Still there as a shop but sadly no longer a restaurant). As Helios Fountain was based on Rudolf Steiner principles I began to learn more about spirituality and alternative approaches to health and wellbeing.

Around this time I started attending yoga classes and introductory massage courses. This of course led to a certificated massage course in  1989/90. My interest however was always more in the realm of healing and spirituality and through the different paths I've taken in the past two decades I have found the deeper we go into spirit, the more we develop our capacity for compassion and unconditional love and acceptance. Any form of healing or therapy practiced becomes more powerfully transformative as love is the energy that dissolves old, stuck feelings, energy and trauma.

My main focus now is healing, energy or conscious medicine and spirituality.
